Wow! It's already July! We are two thirds of the way through summer and so much has happened with Running To The Rescue!
We started off the month with camp Running To The Rescue where I got to teach kids from all over Marin County about what it means to be a leader. With the help of a friend, we raised $860 just from this one week of camp! We did water balloon fights, had an ice cream party, and did lots of games and activities that built teamwork and leadership skills. This was the second successful camp of the summer, in June we raised $1,000 from another Running To The Rescue leadership camp. . . . . . . . .
Another fun thing to look forward to is Running To The Rescue's new logo! With the help of some friends I was able to complete a simple, but explanatory logo. The logo symbolises someone "Running To The Rescue" to help children in need all over the world who are suffering from disease, hunger, thirst, and lack of education. Keep in touch for monthly updates on whats going on with Running To The Rescue! . . .
